Growing up in the historic market town of Chesterfield in Derbyshire resulted in many happy heather filled adventures in the Peak District National Park. These childhood memories forged my lifelong love of the countryside. This inspiration shines through with simple compositions and complex drawings, capturing the lost minutes and fond memories spent in familiar surroundings.About
Cat Storey is a British illustrator creating complex and detailed drawings from ink and wire. Each of the collections is inspired by the English countryside and her childhood memories of exploring the Peak District National Park. Cat currently lives and works in Derbyshire. She received an MA in Fine Art and a BA (Hons) in Decorative Arts from Nottingham Trent University.
