Growing up in the historic market town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, meant many happy adventures among the heather-filled landscapes of the Peak District National Park. These childhood memories shaped my lifelong love of the countryside, an inspiration reflected in simple compositions and intricate drawings that capture quiet moments and fond memories of familiar places.About
Cat Storey is a British illustrator creating complex and detailed drawings from ink and wire. Each collection is inspired by the English countryside and her childhood memories of exploring the Peak District National Park. Cat currently lives and works in Derbyshire. She received an MA in Fine Art and a First Class BA (Hons) in Decorative Arts from Nottingham Trent University.
